The study tour to Port Resolution on Tanna Island in Vanuatu is an eco-tourism project helping the local community to generate income to educate their children, retain ownership of their land and culture while creating replicable and sustainable tourist facilities for other ni-Vanuatu communities.

In September 2018, our group commenced construction of the second bungalow. This unique hands-on experience saw us complete a diverse range of tasks. Prior to departure we planned and held various fundraising events to fund construction materials. Onsite we conducted initial sit set outs, assembled and constructed the primary structure together with the local community and explored both the landscape and culture, gaining an appreciation for the pristine environment and strength of community.
